Heather Jensen, a senior, and junior teammate Sophia Parsley of Mira Costa took third and fourth in the girls varsity 2-mile race at the season-opening Palos Verdes Mini Meet at the Palos Verdes Course in California. Jensen clocked 12:58.26 and Parsley ran 13:00.24 for Mira Costa, which was edged by Palos Verdes by a 46-47 margin.
