Senior Ella Parsley and junior Anna Chittenden helped Mira Costa High from California place five scorers in the top 16 at the Bay League championship meet at Redondo Union High. Parsley covered the 3-mile course in 16;57.4, with Chittenden clocking 17:48.8 for the Mustangs, who captured the team title with a 33-54 victory over Redondo Union, advancing to the CIF-Southern Section Division 2 prelims Nov. 12 at Mt. San Antonio College in Walnut.
